RU11 signs up to Hefei Statement

Research Universities 11 (RU11) has joined the global network of leading research universities to sign up to the Hefei Statement that was first signed in the city of Hefei.
The statement outlines ten characteristics of modern research universities, including the pursuit of excellence, a commitment to research training, dedication to the highest standards of research integrity, and the right to set priorities on academic grounds.
The members consist of the League of European Research Universities (LERU), the Association of American Universities (AAU), the China 9 grouping of leading Chinese universities (C9), the Australian Group of Eight research-intensive universities (Go8), the Association of East Asia Research Universities (AEARU), The Russell Group, and the U15 Group of Canadian Research Universities.
